Description

Deliciously flaky and buttery biscuits that are easy to make and perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until evenly combined.
  3. Gradually stir in the milk until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Pour half of the melted butter into the prepared baking dish, coating the bottom well.
  5. Pour the biscuit dough over the butter in the dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Drizzle the remaining melted butter on top of the biscuit dough.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.

Notes

For a twist, try adding garlic powder or fresh herbs to the dry ingredients.
