- 1 lb Ground Chicken (Substitute with ground turkey or lean beef if desired)
- 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce (Adjust for spice preference)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular for extra crunch)
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (For frying)
Instructions
- Combine the ground chicken, crumbled bacon, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Take a small amount of the mixture and flatten it in your palm.
- Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center and mold the chicken mixture around it, forming a ball.
- Repeat until you’ve used up the chicken mixture, placing each ball on a plate.
- Set up a breading station with flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third.
- Roll each chicken ball in flour, then dip it into the egg, and finally coat it in breadcrumbs.
- Heat the oil in a deep pot until it reaches 350°F.
- Carefully drop a few coated balls into the hot oil, frying them for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the cooked bombs and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Notes
For extra flavor, experiment with spices. Consider making these bombs ahead of time and freezing them for later use.
