Description

A warm and nostalgic banana bread made with brown butter and chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup brown butter, cooled
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas with the brown butter until smooth.
  3. Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best flavor, use very ripe bananas with brown speckles. Consider adding nuts for extra texture.
