Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chunks.
- Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie batter evenly.
- Top with the remaining brownie batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.
