Ingredients
- 250 grams Feta cheese
- 3 Tomatoes diced
- 1 Green pepper diced (banana/ Florina pepper)
- 1 Small green chili sliced (sub with chili flakes; see notes)
- 3 Garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) Paprika
- 150 grams Kasseri cheese grated (sub with kefalograviera, gouda, or pecorino)
Instructions
- Set your oven to 180°C (with fan).
- Scatter half of the diced tomatoes uniformly in a small oven-safe dish.
- Break apart the feta cheese and distribute it over the tomatoes, then add the diced green pepper, sliced chili, minced garlic, oregano, and paprika in layers.
- Layer the rest of the tomatoes on top, then evenly distribute the grated kasseri cheese over everything.
- Place in the oven and cook for 30 to 45 minutes without covering, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Allow it to sit for 10 minutes before serving so the cheese can firm up a bit.
- Serve it warm alongside some crusty bread and savor the flavors!
