Ingredients
- 1 box of yellow cake mix
- Water, oil, and eggs (as per mix instructions)
- 1 box of instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup chocolate frosting
Instructions
- Prepare and bake the yellow cake according to the package instructions. Let it cool.
- Once the cake is cooled, use a skewer to poke holes all over the top of the cake.
- In a bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding with milk until it thickens.
- Pour the pudding over the cake, spreading it into the holes.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour to set the pudding.
- Spread the chocolate frosting over the top of the cake before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using room temperature eggs and a splash of vanilla extract in the pudding.
