Description

A delightful stir-fry featuring bok choy and mushrooms, enhanced with garlic, ginger, and soy sauce for a flavorful dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 heads bok choy
  • 8 ounces mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they begin to brown.
  3. Toss in the bok choy stems and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the bok choy leaves and cook for 1-2 minutes until they wilt slightly.
  5. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the vegetables, stirring well to combine and coat evenly. Cook for 1 more minute.
  6. Remove from heat and transfer the stir-fried bok choy and mushrooms to a serving dish.

Notes

Serve over steamed rice for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
