Description

A delicious rib recipe featuring a flavorful dry rub that enhances the taste of the meat, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons coarse kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

Instructions

  1. Combine all the spices and herbs in a bowl. Stir until evenly mixed.
  2. If necessary, remove the silver skin and dry the surface of the ribs.
  3. Massage the dry rub into every crevice of the ribs, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill and cook low and slow, turning occasionally.
  6. Check for doneness using a meat thermometer; the ribs should reach an internal temperature of 190°F for optimal tenderness.
  7. Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, let the ribs marinate with the dry rub for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
