Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the fresh blueberries using a spatula to distribute them evenly.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown on both sides.
- Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract or a sprinkle of cinnamon to the batter.
