- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds (optional)
- 1/4 cup frozen blueberries (thawed and drained)

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-2 teaspoons powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

- In a bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, freeze-dried blueberry powder, and optional chia or flax seeds.
- In another bowl, whisk together the applesauce (or mashed banana), cream cheese, and honey or maple syrup until smooth.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until fully combined.
- Gently fold in the thawed and drained frozen blueberries.
- If the mixture seems too dry, gradually add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until it is rollable.
- Form the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on a parchment-lined plate.
- In a small bowl, whisk the softened cream cheese with milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Refrigerate the protein bites for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
