Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
- Fold in the blueberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
For an extra pop of flavor, consider adding lemon zest to the batter. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a special treat.
