Description

Indulge in the rich and decadent flavors of our Bloody Red Velvet Popcorn recipe. Learn how to make this delicious treat for your next movie night!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (946 ml) lightly salted popcorn
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) cream cheese frosting
  • 1 1/4 cups (295 ml) crumbled chocolate cake (from 1 box chocolate cake mix, prepared according to package directions)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a baking tray by covering it with parchment paper, then put it aside.
  2. In a big bowl, place the popcorn. Take the frosting and warm it in the microwave for half a minute until it becomes a thick glaze.
  3. Drizzle the warmed frosting over the popcorn and gently mix until the popcorn is well coated. Mix in 1 cup of cake crumbs carefully.
  4. Spread the coated popcorn onto the prepared baking tray in a single layer. Scatter the remaining cake crumbs on top.
  5. Allow it to rest at room temperature for about half an hour until the frosting hardens.

Notes

  • Evenly coat the popcorn with the warmed frosting for full coverage.
  • Gently mix in the cake crumbs to avoid breaking the popcorn pieces.
  • Spread the coated popcorn in a single layer on the baking tray for even drying and coating.
