Ingredients
- 1 package (16 oz) breakfast sausage
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk

- 1 pre-baked pizza crust (12-inch)

- 6 eggs
- ¼ cup milk (for the eggs)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or more, if desired)
Instructions
- Prepare the sausage gravy: Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Break it up with a spatula until browned. Drain any excess grease if necessary. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage, stirring to combine. Gradually add 2 cups of milk, stirring continuously until thickened. Season with ground black pepper to taste and set aside.
- Set up the pizza base: Preheat your oven to 400°F. Place the pre-baked pizza crust on a baking sheet. Optionally, brush with olive oil to add a layer of flavor. Spread half of the sausage gravy over the crust.
