Description

A hearty Biscuit Breakfast Casserole filled with breakfast sausage, fluffy biscuits, and melted cheese, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped vegetables (bell peppers, onions, or spinach)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and add it to the egg mixture along with the cooked sausage and cheese. Stir in any optional vegetables if using.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
