Description

A fun twist on the classic Big Mac, transformed into a delicious wrap that combines nostalgic flavors with fresh ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 or lean)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • ¼ cup sliced dill pickles
  • 4 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas (or low-carb wraps)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of paprika
  • Sesame seeds
  • Shredded cheddar
  • Sliced jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add salt, black pepper, and onion powder. Cook until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks. This process usually takes about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Make the Big Mac sauce: In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of paprika. Stir until well combined, creating a smooth sauce.
  3. Warm the tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet for about 1 minute on each side or microwave them for about 20 seconds. This will make them pliable for wrapping.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Start by placing a spoonful of cooked beef into the center of each warm tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced onion, sliced pickles, a slice of cheese, and a generous dollop of the Big Mac sauce. Add any additional toppings like jalapeños or shredded cheddar if desired.
  5. Optional – Toast the wraps: For an extra crunch, place the assembled wraps back into the skillet and toast them for about 2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve: Cut the wraps in half and serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds or extra toppings if desired.

Notes
