Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- ¾ cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together until combined.
- Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the milk just until combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently a few times.
- Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick.
- Cut with a biscuit cutter to form your biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
