Description

Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers (store-bought or homemade)
  • Ground meat (chicken or pork)
  • Shrimp (optional, minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1-inch piece of ginger (minced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped finely)
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • Vegetables (bok choy, carrots or seasonal produce)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the wonton filling by mixing the ground meat, minced shrimp (if using), garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Place a small amount of filling in the center of a wonton wrapper.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over, and seal tightly.
