Description

The ultimate recipe for warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies that bring joy to every kitchen.


Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the salt, vanilla extract, and eggs, mixing until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
