- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light-brown sugar

- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda, then set aside.
- Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add salt, vanilla extract, and eggs, mix well.
- Gradually incorporate the flour mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
