Description
A succulent beef sirloin tip steak paired with buttery garlic-infused potatoes, perfect for family gatherings or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin tip steak
- 2 large potatoes, diced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
- Season the beef sirloin tip steak with salt and pepper.
- Add a drizzle of olive oil to the hot pan and sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.
- In the same pan, add butter and minced garlic.
- Once the garlic is fragrant, add diced potatoes.
- Cook until the potatoes are fork-tender and golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- Slice the steak and serve with garlic butter potatoes.
Notes
For a softer steak, let it rest after cooking to allow juices to redistribute. Consider creating a compound butter with garlic for added flavor.
