Description

A succulent beef sirloin tip steak paired with buttery garlic-infused potatoes, perfect for family gatherings or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin tip steak
  • 2 large potatoes, diced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the beef sirloin tip steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Add a drizzle of olive oil to the hot pan and sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest.
  5. In the same pan, add butter and minced garlic.
  6. Once the garlic is fragrant, add diced potatoes.
  7. Cook until the potatoes are fork-tender and golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  8. Slice the steak and serve with garlic butter potatoes.

Notes

For a softer steak, let it rest after cooking to allow juices to redistribute. Consider creating a compound butter with garlic for added flavor.
