A delightful stir-fried dish combining tender beef, colorful vegetables, and lo mein noodles in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 oz lo mein noodles
- 1 lb beef, sliced into thin strips
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, and snow peas)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the beef strips, cooking them until browned and cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Stir in mixed vegetables and cook until tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked lo mein noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, tossing everything until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
Notes
Marinating the beef in soy sauce for 15 to 30 minutes before cooking enhances its flavor. Use fresh vegetables for better taste and nutrition.
