Description

A comforting and quick meal featuring tender beef and crisp broccoli stir-fried in savory sauces.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the beef with the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned, ensuring even cooking throughout.
  5. Incorporate the broccoli and a splash of water, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
  6. Season to your liking with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra richness, consider drizzling with sesame oil before serving.
