Description

A flavorful fusion of chicken, vegetables, and a creamy spicy sauce that excites the palate.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce (adjust according to spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil (for cooking)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Start by cutting the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and seasoning them with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the broccoli, sliced red bell pepper, and julienned carrot. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha sauce, and soy sauce until well combined.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Pour the sauce over everything and stir well to coat evenly.
  6. In serving bowls, place a layer of cooked rice as the base.
  7. Spoon the chicken and vegetable mixture over the rice.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for an added touch.
  9. Serve immediately to enjoy the Bang Bang Chicken Bowl while it’s fresh and hot!

Notes

For added spice, adjust the amount of Sriracha sauce. Use day-old rice for fluffiness.
