Description

A warm and inviting cake combining ripe bananas, rich cocoa, and crunchy walnuts, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown packed sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups cake flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup walnuts (chopped)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Smash your bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Add oil, sugar, eggs, cocoa powder, and vanilla, then mix well.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
  5. Mix in your walnuts and place the mixture in a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
