Description

A delightful loaf combining ripe bananas and rich pumpkin puree, perfect for cozy moments and especially treasured during the fall.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
