Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
