Ingredients
- 1 sheet flaky pastry (such as puff pastry)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cheese (such as Gruyère or cheddar), shredded
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (such as chives or parsley), for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the flaky pastry and cut it into squares or circles, placing them in a greased baking dish.
- Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Pour the egg mixture over the pastry.
- Sprinkle cheese and herbs on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the eggs are set and the pastry is golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
