Description

Learn how to make delicious Baked Chicken Alfredo Pasta with this easy recipe. Creamy, cheesy, and satisfying – perfect for a comforting meal at home.

Ingredients

  • – 2 cups (480 ml) cooked chicken, chopped or shredded
  • – 16 ounces (450 g) uncooked penne pasta
  • – 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
  • – 2 cups (480 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • – 4 ounces (113 g) cream cheese
  • – 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) minced garlic
  • – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
  • – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Italian seasoning
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
  • – 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) pepper
  • – 1 cup (100 g) grated halal-friendly cheese
  • – 2 cups (200 g) halal-friendly mozzarella
  • – 1/4 cup (25 g) halal-friendly cheese

Instructions

  1. Set your oven to a temperature of 350°F to preheat. Prepare the penne pasta by cooking it as the packaging suggests, then drain, rinse, and place it aside.
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan over medium-high flame, combine vegetable oil, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Stir until all ingredients are fully melted together.
  3. Incorporate the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into the mixture. Continue to whisk until you achieve a smooth consistency.
  4. Stir in the grated halal-friendly cheese, allowing the mixture to simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until it begins to thicken slightly.
  5. Return the cooked pasta to the pot and drizzle the Alfredo sauce over it. Add the cooked chicken to the mix and combine everything thoroughly.
  6. Transfer half of the pasta concoction into a 9×13 baking dish, and sprinkle half of the mozzarella on top. Add the remaining pasta mixture to the dish, then top with the leftover mozzarella and the halal-friendly cheese.
  7. Place in the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes until the cheese achieves a golden, bubbly appearance. Once baked, take the dish out and allow it to sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use full-fat heavy whipping cream and cream cheese for a richer Alfredo sauce.
  • Season the sauce generously with garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Enhance the dish with additional vegetables like broccoli or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
