Description

A delicious and comforting Bacon and Cheddar Quiche, perfect for gatherings and brunch.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels, then crumble.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and layer the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese in the bottom.
  5. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper on top of the cheese, if using.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the fillings, ensuring it’s evenly distributed.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serve warm.

Notes

Let the quiche rest for at least five minutes after baking for easier slicing.
