Description
An easy and creamy avocado spread that brings together flavors of tahini, lemon, and garlic for a delightful dip or spread.
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 3 tablespoons tahini
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ clove garlic (grated)
- ½ teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor.
- Add the tahini, lemon juice, grated garlic, salt, and black pepper to the food processor.
- Blend everything together until smooth, stopping once or twice to scrape down the sides.
- Taste the spread and adjust the seasonings if needed.
- Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately, or let it sit while you prepare your gathering.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container topped with a thin layer of olive oil to prevent browning.
