Description

An easy and creamy avocado spread that brings together flavors of tahini, lemon, and garlic for a delightful dip or spread.


Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe avocados
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ clove garlic (grated)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Slice the ripe avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a food processor.
  2. Add the tahini, lemon juice, grated garlic, salt, and black pepper to the food processor.
  3. Blend everything together until smooth, stopping once or twice to scrape down the sides.
  4. Taste the spread and adjust the seasonings if needed.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and serve immediately, or let it sit while you prepare your gathering.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container topped with a thin layer of olive oil to prevent browning.
