Description

A comforting stack of apple cinnamon pancakes perfect for breakfast or dessert, combining juicy apples with warm spices.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • Additional cinnamon and sugar for topping


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter together until combined.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Fold in the diced apples gently.
  5. Preheat your skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet, cooking until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Flip the pancake and cook until the other side is golden brown, about another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Continue this process until all the batter is used.
  9. Serve warm, sprinkling additional cinnamon and sugar over the top.

Notes
