Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in the almond extract thoroughly.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
- Gently fold in the poppy seeds.
