Ingredients
- 2 pounds of chicken (any cut of choice)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or ½ teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Add the chicken to the bowl, ensuring each piece is well coated with the marinade. Allow it to rest for 30 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
