Description
A simple and delightful no-bake strawberry mousse made with just three ingredients, capturing the essence of fresh strawberries.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, plus extra for garnish
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries, then blend them into a smooth puree using a mini food processor or high-speed blender.
- Set aside 2–3 tablespoons of this puree for the beautiful swirl at the bottom of each glass.
- In a large chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy cream using a hand mixer until soft peaks form.
- Add the powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks appear.
- Gently fold in the remaining strawberry puree, mixing just until combined.
- Spoon a tablespoon of the reserved puree into the bottom of each serving glass.
- Carefully pipe or spoon the mousse on top.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving for the best texture.
Notes
For tips, ensure mixing bowls and beaters are cold while whipping. Taste the puree before mixing for optimal sweetness.
